Have You Introduced Your Parent Leadership Team Yet?

We're now more than 30 days into the 2025–2026 academic year, and by now, your parent leaders have likely been busy supporting events, meetings, and school initiatives. If you haven't officially introduced your Parent Leadership Team to your broader school community yet, now is the perfect time. Highlighting your parent leaders not only builds trust and awareness but also reinforces the collaborative spirit that drives strong family-school partnerships (remember our chancellors' regs, just saying).
Here are a few creative ways to make your introduction stand out:
Feature your team with a photo or short video post on your school's social media pages.
Pair it with a caption that highlights what makes your leaders special — their passion, commitment, and connection to the community.
Tag your PTA/PTO account and invite families to get involved or learn more.
Take, for example, this simple post from Amani Charter School's PTA Leadership Team (2025–2026). The photo captures genuine smiles and confidence as four women stand together in unity, representing parent leadership and partnership. It's simple, authentic, and relatable, helping families feel proud and connected, and likely a photo that is already in someone's phone.

In the video shared below, short clips of laughter, conversation, and collaboration tell a bigger story with the trendy "Nothing beats a Jet2Holiday audio. Parents and staff are shown working side-by-side, highlighting the energy and warmth that make a school community thrive. These visual moments remind families that leadership is approachable, human, and deeply committed to their children’s success.
